Denison feeder cattle saleThe Denison Feeder Cattle Auction, Denison, Iowa, reported receipts of 2,164 head April 17, compared to 2,698 head last year, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa. This was a special feeder cattle sale. Demand was good. No comparisons as the last sale was two weeks ago, but a higher undertone was noted. The condition and quality was average. Receipts included 67% feeder cattle over 600 pounds, 61% feeder heifers and 39% feeder steers.
