Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 975 head April 15, compared to 1,200 head last week and 1,328 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 59% heifers and 31% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 616 to 640 lbs., 108.00 to 110.00 (109.59); 5 head, 735 to 745 lbs., 96.50 to 98.00 (97.00); 12 head, 879 lbs., 88.50. Medium and large frame 2, 360 to 398 lbs., 113.00 to 121.00 (117.07); 10 head, 405 lbs., 107.00; 513 to 547 lbs., 104.50 to 111.00 (105.98); 10 head, 627 to 643 lbs., 99.00 to 100.00 (99.29); 6 head, 665 to 685 lbs., 94.00 to 99.50 (97.70); 8 head, 656 to 676 lbs., 92.00 to 95.00 (93.48) fleshy.
