High Plains slaughter news

High Plains weighted average direct slaughter cattle sales for the week ending April 13, reported receipts of 187,684 head, compared to 159,472 head last week and 134,789 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.

The report was based on sales in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Minnesota feedlots.
