Get your listings in for Montana Stockgrowers Cattle DirectoryMontana For nearly 20 years, the Montana Stockgrowers Association has been publishing and distributing the Montana Seedstock and Commercial Cattle Directory from their office in Helena. They are now accepting listings for the 2008-2009 directory. The directory features both advertisements and listings highlighting Montana's commercial feeder cattle, associated services, commercial replacement females and seedstock producers. The deadline for listings is May 1. Advertisement deadline is May 15. The Montana Seedstock and Commercial Cattle Directory is distributed during the year at various cattle and horse sales throughout the state, mailed to more than 1,000 feedlots nationwide, and all MSGA members. In addition, the directory is available at most livestock auction markets in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Idaho, as well as Montana county Extension offices, sire services, and agribusinesses in the state. This year, MSGA had a booth at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, the Cattle Industry Annual Convention and Trade Show in Reno, and the Northern International Livestock Exposition in Billings where the directory was dispersed. "This directory allows Montana ranchers to market their cattle on a state and national level without stepping foot out of their front door," said Darrell Stevenson, MSGA Seedstock Chairman. "Our goal is to distribute the directory to every possible outlet to market Montana's superior cattle." Along with the directory, priority pages are auctioned off during MSGA's annual convention held in December each year. The Montana Seedstock and Commercial Cattle Directory is also searchable on line at www.mtbeef.org.
