Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 865 head April 9, compared to 1,420 head last week and 1,665 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were thin to fleshy. The supply included 41% heifers and 13% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 11 head, 334 to 339 lbs., 133.00 to 134.00 (133.55); 17 head, 364 to 372 lbs., 130.00 to 134.50 (131.78); 10 head, 400 to 404 lbs., 125.50 to 128.00 (127.01); 19 head, 463 to 493 lbs., 120.00 to 122.00 (121.03); 8 head, 541 lbs., 117.50; 5 head, 618 to 625 lbs., 106.50 to 108.50 (107.31). Medium and large frame 2, 14 head, 431 to 445 lbs., 120.00 to 123.00 (120.68); 8 head, 463 to 485 lbs., 109.00 to 120.00 (115.40); 20 head, 519 to 540 lbs., 112.50 to 116.00 (114.40); 6 head, 624 lbs., 101.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, 367 to 370 lbs., 110.00 to 114.00 (111.99); 450 to 495 lbs., 107.00 to 108.50 (107.83); 10 head, 528 to 548 lbs., 106.50 to 112.50 (108.49).
