Watertown cattle sales reportThe South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 1,695 head April 9, compared to 475 head last week, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers over 750 pounds were steady, while feeder steers under 750 pounds had a light test $1 to $2 lower. Feeder heifers were $1 to $2 higher. Feeder steers made up 72% of the sale, feeder heifers 28%, with 78% over 600 pounds.
