State Fair offers new discount season gate admission pass

Nebraska

Fairgoers can experience all 11-days of the Fair for a lot less in 2008. The Nebraska State Fair announces that it is offering a new season gate admission pass for $49.95. The special season pass will be available through June 16, and can be purchased online at www.statefair.org or by calling the State Fair ticket office, 402-473-4104.

The season pass offers a significant savings over daily gate admission, as much as $38 according to Barney Cosner, Executive Director. The State Fair was encouraged to offer this great deal after a large number of fairgoers that enjoy visiting the fair daily had requested a season pass.

The 139th edition of the Nebraska State Fair will run Aug. 22 through Labor Day, Sept. 1. Adult gate admission, Monday through Friday is $5 (before 5 p.m.) and $8 (after 5 p.m.), weekends and Labor Day gate admission is $8 all day. Youth 6 to 12 years is $2, and children 5 and under are free. For more information visit www.statefair.org.
