St. Joseph feeder pigs

The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 110 head April 8, compared to 78 head last week and 302 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo.

No recent comparison with feeder pigs weighing over 65 pounds, selling with good demand and a higher was undertone. A nice offering of feeder pigs were on hand for the auction. Prices paid per head on actual weights.

U.S. 1 to 2: lot 41 lbs., 8.00; lot 65 lbs., 40.00; lot 80 lbs., 27.00; lot 101 lbs., 22.50; package 103 lbs., 29.00; lot 150 lbs., 36.00.
