Ada livestock sales report
The Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,325 head Sept. 12, compared to 1,610 head last week and 3,943 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture to USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Demand was good on all classes. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium. The supply included 52% heifers and 40% over 600 pounds.
