Aberdeen livestock sales
The Hub City Livestock Auction, Aberdeen, S.D., reported receipts of 1,954 head Sept. 19, compared to 2,468 head last week and 3,540 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $2 lower. Steers comprised 50% of the run, heifers 50%, with 91% over 600 pounds.
