All models except the 7850 feature John Deere PowerTech Plus engines, which deliver increased power and higher-torque characteristics than our previous models. These engines are more powerful, cleaner-burning and more fuel-efficient to help operators cut and process more crop in less time. The 7850 SPFH is designed with a large 6-cylinder, 15-liter Cummins Diesel engine which is rated at a working 689 horsepower.
