Pratt 3 p.m. livestock sale
The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., Sept. 13, reported estimated receipts of 2,000 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers under 700 pounds and heifers under 650 pounds were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers at 700 to 900 pounds were steady to $3 lower, heifers at 650 to 800 pounds were $2 to $3 lower. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 37 head, 638 lbs., 122.50; 22 head, 692 lbs., 121.35; 55 head, 729 lbs., 118.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 119.50 to 122.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 115.50 to 119.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 112.25 to 115.00; 3 head, 932 lbs., 113.00; 39 head, 981 lbs., 107.10. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 32 head, 648 lbs., 113.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 109.00 to 112.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 110.85 to 113.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 109.25 to 111.50; 17 head, 890 lbs., 106.00; 14 head, 908 lbs., 108.50.
