FSA honors Kansans

Kansas

The USDA Farm Service Agency Administrator's Award for Service to Agriculture, the highest honorary award that FSA can bestow, recognizes employees for their extra efforts. This honorary awards program is an important tool in creating a workplace where the extra efforts shown by individuals and teams are given due recognition.

At a recent ceremony in Washington D.C., FSA Administrator Teresa Lasseter presented the Administrator's Award for Service to Agriculture to three Kansas FSA employees for their outstanding performance and accomplishments. The awards were presented to:

--Bill R. Fuller, State Executive Director, Manhattan: Excellence in Leadership and Management Award, "For leadership in restructuring the Farm Service Agency's program delivery system in the Kansas State FSA Office resulting in the improvement of operational efficiency and productivity of employees."

--John D. Drach, State Office Division Chief, Manhattan: Outstanding Team Accomplishment Award, "For invaluable assistance, effort and dedication in conducting field reviews for the Designated Marketing Associations during 2006."

--Linda Hughes, Farm Loan Program Technician, Salina: Outstanding Team Accomplishment Award, "For dedication and exemplary performance while detailed to the USDA National Office Consent Decree Action Team."

The FSA family is proud of these contributions to FSA's goals and objectives. These employees exemplify the dedication that all Kansas FSA employees demonstrate in serving Kansas farmers and ranchers.
