Apache livestock sales reportStockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 3,237 head Sept. 8, compared to 1,723 head last week and 2,675 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder cattle and calves were steady. Demand was good for all classes. Weigh-ups were average to gaunt. The supply included 45% steers, 46% heifers, 8% bulls and 66% over 600 pounds.
