4-H Angus members compete at 2007 Missouri State Fair

4-H members paraded 110 entries at the 2007 Missouri State Fair 4-H Angus Show, Aug. 9 in Sedalia, Mo. Tim Loudon, Creston, Iowa, evaluated the 86 females, 18 bulls and six cow-calf pairs before selecting champions.

Samuel Wallace, Stotts City, Mo., showed the grand champion bull. WCC Upgrade 679 is a September 2006 son of K C F Bennett Total and first topped the calf division.

MLA Forever Mickey 6011 claimed reserve grand champion bull honors for Carter Ward, Plattsburg, Mo. The September 2006 son of G A R Integrity first won reserve calf champion.

In the female show, Collin Barker, Kearney, Mo., claimed grand champion honors with Patton Lady Agnes 625. The January 2006 daughter of Ayres Pascalar Easy Upgrade first won junior champion.

Samuel Wallace, led the reserve grand champion female. WCC Primrose 586 is a September 2005 daughter of W C C Precision E161 J239 and first won senior champion.

Jera Pipkin, Republic, Mo., led the grand champion cow-calf pair. Clearwater Eriskay J 254 is a January 2004 daughter of G A R Expectation 4915. A March 2007 bull calf sired by Schurrtop MC 2500 is at side.

Austin Thummel, Sheridan, Mo., showed the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. SR Envious Blackbird 50 is a January 2005 daughter of TC Freedom 104. A January 2007 heifer calf sired by SAV 8180 Traveler 004 is at side.
