CORN HEADERS--For high capacity harvesting no matter the conditions, CLAAS of America, Inc., Omaha, Neb., launches the new ORBIS 600 and 750 corn head providing optimal crop flow for an unbeatable harvest season. Equipped with mechanical contour technology to follow the topography of the field, each model adjusts smoothly to field conditions while providing ideal lateral compensation. Rotation of the self-sharpening, carbide coated knives and large diameter gathering discs (four large diameter and two additional small diameter discs on the ORBIS 750) allow for safe transport of tall or short corn and gentle treatment of loose cobs to the feed rollers. The new turning direction of the two-center gathering discs aides in poor feeding conditions. For more information, call 402-861-1000, or visit www.claasofamerica.com.
