Wyoming Angus Tour set for September 15 to 16

Wyoming

Sight-seeing, fellowship, and recreation will make for an enjoyable experience during the Wyoming Angus Association's "Towering Above the Rest" Angus Tour and Cowboy Golf Scramble set for September 15 to 16. Angus enthusiasts are encouraged to attend this fun-filled weekend.

This year's tour provides attendees the opportunity to visit three northeastern Wyoming ranches. The tour begins Saturday, Sept 15, at Tower Valley Ag Supply, Hulett. An 8:30 a.m. departure for Ballou Angus Ranch will kick-off the day's ranch stops. This first stop includes registration, breakfast and a herd tour. From there, tour attendees will visit Neiman's 77 Ranch for lunch and a herd tour. The final tour stop, Pannell Ranch, Alva, features a herd tour, social and dinner. A guest speaker and the Wyoming Junior Angus Auction will conclude the evening's events.

In addition to participating in the tour, Angus enthusiasts are encouraged to take in the scenery while enjoying friendly competition at the 10th annual Pannell Ranch/Neiman's 77 Ranch Cowboy Scramble Golf Tournament. The scramble will be held at The Golf Club at Devils Tower, Hulett, Wyo. Those interested in participating in the golf scramble should contact Jim Pannell at 307-467-5712.
