St. Joseph feeder pigsThe St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 225 head Sept. 4, compared to 252 head last week and 77 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo. Compared to last week, feeder pigs under 60 pounds sold $4 to $10 lower, over 70 pounds were not well tested. Hot temperatures and lower slaughter hog prices are pressuring the market.
