Pratt 3 p.m cattle salesThe Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., Sept. 6, reported estimated receipts of 1,700 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers under 700 pounds and heifers under 600 pounds were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers at 700 to 950 pounds were steady to $2 higher, and heifers at 600 to 950 pounds were $1 to $4 higher. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 16 head, 662 lbs., 123.25; 700 to 750 lbs., 119.50 to 122.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 119.25 to 122.25; 800 to 850 lbs., 117.50 to 121.50; 27 head, 883 lbs., 118.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 115.75 to 117.10; 13 head, 981 lbs., 104.50. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 116.50 to 120.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 114.25 to 116.75; 700 to 750 lbs., 113.00 to 116.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 110.60 to 113.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 108.50 to 110.85; 7 head, 854 lbs., 109.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 107.00 to 109.10.
