Plot results rolling inBy David G. Hallauer Meadowlark District Extension Agent, Crops, soils, horticulture Kansas Right along with this year's harvest, the results from test plots across Northeast Kansas are rolling in. The Dryland Corn Plot results from the Meadowlark Extension District plot at Winchester was as follows: Triumph 1866 RR--131.4 bushels per acre; Taylor T930 RRBt--142.3 bushels per acre; Midland 436 BtRR--154.0 bushels per acre; Garst 8534--132.7 bushels per acre; Croplan Genetics 7505 CR--149.2 bushels per acre; Fontanelle 7R667--156.3; Ag Source 7886-- 158.3; Stauffer 2677 BWR--134.5; NuTech 3111--150.9; Golden Harvest H9098 GT/CB/LL--146.2; Triumph 1416 CbRR--163.8 bushels per acre; Midland 417 HxRR--163.9 bushels per acre; Taylor 965 RRBt--156.7 bushels per acre; Ag Source 6066--150.2 bushels per acre; Fontanelle 8K339--157.6 bushels per acre; Croplan Genetics 6992 RB--177.9 bushels per acre; NuTech NT 5913--148.0 bushels per acre; Stauffer 2816 VBWR--173.6 bushels per acre. Irrigated results from Shawnee County are available, as are dryland results from Shawnee, Doniphan and Riley counties in Northeast Kansas. The dryland corn plot at Centralia in Nemaha County was harvested on Sept. 27 so results from it should be available online shortly. Contact the office for more information or a hard copy of results.
