Colorado feeder cattle reportThe Colorado Auction Feeder Cattle Summary, Greeley, Colo, Sept. 28, reported receipts of 5,480 head, compared to 3,540 head last week and 5,635 head last year, according to the USDA-Colorado Department of Agriculture Market News, Greeley, Colo. Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves were steady to $2 higher. Yearlings were mostly steady on remaining supplies offered. Demand was moderate to good. The supply was made up of 59% feeder steers, the balance was feeder heifers, with about 60% of total supply weighed over 600 pounds.
