Ada livestock sale notesThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,085 head Sept. 27, compared to 2,750 head last week and 3,619 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady. Feeder heifers were steady to $1 lower. Demand was good on all classes. Flesh conditions were medium. The supply included 49% heifers and 36% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were $2 lower. A total of 500 cows and bulls sold with 35% going to packers.
