Top horses sold to Kansas, Indiana, Colorado, Missouri, Louisiana, Vermont, Minnesota, and Texas. There were 283 horses that passed through the sale ring--Guy Peverley. McCurry Angus Ranch Inaugural Female Production Sale Sept. 2 Burrton, Kan. Auctioneer: Jim Birdwell Sale Manager: American Angus Hall of Fame Averages: 70 Female lots, $3,670; 1 Bull lot (half interest) sold for $6,500. Andy, Mary, John and Emily McCurry presented a strong female offering for their first annual sale. Cattle sold into 10 states.
