South Central direct sheepThe South Central Direct Sheep report for the week ending Oct. 19, totaled 1,100 feeder lambs and 300 slaughter meat goats, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas. Compared to lthe ast test, feeder lambs were steady. There were no slaughter lambs. Slaughter and replacement ewes were not tested. Slaughter meat goats were steady. Trading and demand were moderate. Feeder lambs: Texas, 1100 head, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 70 to 80 lbs., 100.00 to 103.00. Slaughter meat goats: Texas, 300 head, Selection 1 to 2, 50 to 60 lbs., 90.00 to 95.00. Date: 10/25/07
