The Clovis Livestock Auction, Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 3,500 head Oct. 24, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady to weak. Heifers under 600 pounds were steady, over 600 pounds were steady to $1 lower. Steers: Medium and large frame 1: 200 to 300 lbs., 147.00 to 152.00; 300 to 350 lbs., 145.00 to 160.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 140.00 to 142.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 105.00 to 113.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 101.50 to 108.50 calves 98.75 to 104.50; package 762 lbs., 100.00; 714 to 762 lb. calves 94.00 to 95.00.
