Apache cattle sales reportStockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 2,421 head Oct. 13, compared to 3,210 head last week and 2,577 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder cattle and calves were $2 to $4 lower. Demand was moderate for all classes. Weigh-ups were average to full. The supply included 47% steers, 41% heifers, 10% bulls and 62% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Demand was moderate to good. A total of 489 cows and bulls sold with 40% going to packers.
