Ada livestock sale notesThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,245 head Oct. 11, compared to 2,580 head last week and 3,267 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady. Feeder heifers were $3 lower. Demand was moderate. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium. The supply included 46% heifers and 25% over 600 pounds. The weather is sunny and warm. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. A total of 526 cows and bulls sold with 32% going to packers.
