Woodward livestock auction reportThe Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 7,187 head Oct. 5, compared to 6,130 head last week and 5,796 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were $2 to $5 lower. Feeder heifers were $2 to $3 lower. Steer and heifer calves were steady to $6 lower. Demand was moderate for all classes. Fill was average to full. The supply included 63% steers, 32% heifers with 78% over 600 pounds.
