Pratt 3 p.m. cattle salesThe Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., Oct. 11, reported estimated receipts of 2,200 head, according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers and heifers at 300 to 700 pounds were not enough for a market test. Feeder steers at 700 to 950 pounds were $2 to $5 lower, and feeder heifers weighing 700 to 850 pounds were steady to $2 lower on a very light supply. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1 25 head, 648 lbs., 113.50; 17 head, 679 lbs., 114.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 112.50 to 116.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 109.00 to 112.10; 800 to 850 lbs., 111.00 to 114.75; 850 to 900 lbs., 109.75 to 111.00; 79 head, 948 lbs., 108.85. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 700 to 750 lbs., 104.50 to 105.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 103.50 to 107.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 103.60 to 104.60; 71 head, 862 lbs., 102.00; 9 head, 948 lbs., 98.00; 12 head, 959 lbs., 99.75.
