Ogallala livestock salesThe Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Ogallala, Neb., reported receipts of 2,500 head Oct. 4, compared to 4,150 head last year, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb. There were no comparisons to last week, due to no feeder sale. The offering included 60% steers, 40% heifers, with 68% over 600 pounds.
