The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 4,000 head Oct. 10, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers steady. Steers: Medium and large frame 1, package 305 lbs., 166.00; package 405 lbs., 131.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 118.00 to 122.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 110.00 to 115.75; 600 to 650 lb. calves 99.50 to 108.00; packages 728 to 751 lbs., calves 95.00 to 99.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, package 235 lbs., 168.00; lot 299 lbs., 146.00; lot 309 lbs., 160.00; lot 397 lbs., 146.00; 400 to 500 lbs., 117.50 to 126.00; lot 504 lb. weaned 117.50; lot 651 lb. calves 105.50; load 797 lbs., 110.00; 700 to 800 lbs., 100.00 to 108.25.
