Five-section disk

--John Deere now offers a five-section disk, the 637 Disk, at widths of 42-foot 4-inch and 45-foot 2-inch. The new five-section, flex-folding disks are designed to follow ground contours for soil mixing or seedbed preparation. Adjustments are easily done from the cab of the tractor, depending on field conditions, to assure level and consistent tilling of the soil. The disks fold up into a transport dimension of 16 feet, 3 inches and a transport height of 13 feet. Other features include castering front stabilizer wheels integrated into the depth-control hydraulics to help to maintain smooth performance. Also, the weight per blade has increased to 210 pounds for more aggressive penetration to size and bury stalks in the fall. For more information, call a local John Deere dealer or visit www.JohnDeere.com/Ag.
