St. Joseph feeder pigs
The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 200 head Sept. 25, compared to 156 head last week and 354 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo. Compared to last week, pigs 30 to 40 pounds sold $5 lower, 40- to 60-pound pigs sold steady, with 65- to 70-pound pigs were steady to $5 lower. Prices paid per head on actual weights. U.S. 1 to 2: Lot 22 lbs., 11.00; lot 32 lbs., 12.00; package 37 lbs., 12.00; package 43 lbs., 19.00; lot 48 lbs., 20.50; lot 52 lbs., 20.00; lot 60 lbs., 19.00; package 66 lbs., 25.00; package 85 lbs., 25.00.
