Apache livestock auction reportStockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 3,650 head Sept. 22, compared to 3,630 head last year and 3,460 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder cattle were steady to $2 lower. Steer and heifer calves were steady to $3 lower. Demand was moderate to good for all classes. Weigh-ups were average to full. The supply included 66% feeders over 600 pounds and 35% heifers. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady to weak. Demand was good with about 65% going to packers.
