Aberdeen cattle sales reportThe Hub City Livestock Auction, Aberdeen, S.D., reported receipts of 4,492 head Sept. 26, compared to 1,954 head last week and 2,945 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady. Steers comprised 63% of run, heifers 33% and bulls 4%. The supply included 90% over 600 pounds.
