Cattle-Fax, Denver, Colo., has hired Tom Field, Ph.D., as a part-time consultant. During a professional research and teaching career spanning more than 25 years, Dr. Field has established himself as one of the nation's most respected beef cattle management experts. Currently, Dr. Field serves as professor of beef cattle management systems in the Colorado State University Department of Animal Sciences. Ralco Nutrition Inc., Marshall, Minn., recently hired Dr. Marnie Mellencamp, Ph.D., as Director of Immunology. Mellencamp is one of the first immunologists hired by an animal nutrition company. Wyffels Hybrids, Geneseo, Ill., a regional seed corn company covering Illinois, Iowa, Southern Wisconsin and the Ohio River Valley, has hired Chris Matthiesen as a district sales manger for eastern Iowa. Matthiesen will be responsible for managing District 36 which covers Jackson, Clinton, Dubuque, and Jones counties in Iowa. Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (REG), Ames, Iowa, welcomes Rob Keeling as purchasing manager and Jason Schwenneker as pricing and risk manager. Bayer CropScience has hired Jeff Springsteen as market manager for non-selective corn herbicide products. In his new role, Springsteen has the product management responsibility for Bayer CropScience corn products and will introduce new products to the marketplace. Arm and Hammer Animal Nutrition, Princeton, N.J., has redesigned its website, www.AHDairy.com. Makhteshim Agan of North America, Inc.
