Huron feeder cattle auction
The Bales Continental Commission Co., Huron, S.D., reported receipts of 678 head Oct. 25, compared to 1,308 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Trend comparisons were not applicable, because there was no sale for a month. The offering was comprised of 52% steers, 48% heifers, with 28% over 600 pounds.
