The Denison Feeder Cattle Auction, Denison, Iowa, reported receipts of 1,516 head Oct. 25, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa. There were no recent sales for a comparison. Receipts were made up of mostly yearlings with 77% weighing more than 600 pounds. Steers made up 65% of the receipts and heifers 35%.
