VACUUM METER ENHANCEMENTS--John Deere's field-proven vacuum meter has been enhanced to improve seed singulation with user-friendly settings. The Pro-Series vacuum meter has a completely redesigned external adjustable double eliminator with defined set points and easier settings for row-to-row repeatability and accuracy. The meter housing has also been redesigned with a new hub to make the meter more accurate. Other new features for all John Deere vacuum meters, Max-Emerge and Pro-Series, include a heavier hub spring and improved disk latching handle. The heavier hub spring ensures that the seed disk stays properly positioned, especially when operating the flat seed disks.
