Woodward livestock sales reportThe Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 6,625 head Nov. 16, compared to 5,328 head last week and 1,140 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady to $1.50 higher. Feeder heifers were $2 higher. Steer and heifer calves were $2 to $6 higher except 600- to 700-pound heifer calves were $1 lower. Demand was good for all classes. Weigh-ups were average, few full. The supply included 57% steers, 35% heifers with 56% over 600 pounds.
