South central direct sheep

The South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending Nov. 16, showed receipts of 140 feeder lambs and 300 slaughter meat goats, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Compared to last week, limited trading and no comparison compared to the lack of trade the past few weeks. There were not slaughter lambs. Slaughter and replacement ewes were not tested. Slaughter meat goats were $8 higher.

Feeder lambs: Texas, 140 head, 72 lbs., 95.00.

Slaughter meat goats: Texas, 300 head, Selection 1 to 2, 55 lbs., 103.00.
