Lexington livestock salesThe Lexington Livestock Market, Lexington, Neb., reported receipts of 3,400 head Nov. 16, compared to 2,150 head last week and 2,500 head last year, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb. Compared to last week, like offerings trended mostly steady. Demand was good for calves and very good for yearlings. Trade activity was moderate to good. Receipts consisted of 57% steers and 43% heifers with 52% of the over 600 pounds.
