Denison feeder cattle reportThe Denison Feeder Cattle Auction, Denison, Iowa, reported receipts of 2,730 head Nov. 15, compared to 1,321 head last week and 1,892 head last year, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa. This is a special feeder cattle sale. Last week's sale was a preconditioned sale. Compared to two weeks ago, feeder calves trended steady to $3 higher cattle quality was good with good demand for all classes and weights, most consignments had received preconditioning shots, and were fresh off the cow. Receipts included 58% feeder cattle over 600 pounds, 45% feeder heifers and 55% feeder steers.
