Arkansas livestock salesThe weekly summary of livestock sales in Arkansas for the week ending Nov. 15, reported estimated receipts of 10,610 head, compared to 12,150 head last week and 8,870 head last year, according to the USDA-Market News Service, Little Rock, Ark. Compared to last week, slaughter cows sold steady to $1 lower. Slaughter bulls were steady. Feeders sold mostly steady to $2 higher, instances were $5 higher on weights under 350 pounds. The supply included 6,510 stocker and feeder calves, 2,365 feeder yearling, 710 replacement cows, 905 slaughter cows and 120 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply was 44% yearling heifers. Slaughter cows: Breakers, 75 to 80% lean, 1000 to 1500 lbs., 41.00 to 47.00; high dressing, 47.00 to 48.50. Boners, 80 to 85% lean, 950 to 1400 lbs., 40.00 to 46.00; high dressing, 46.00 to 51.00; low dressing, 36.00 to 40.00. Lean, 85 to 90% lean, 900 to 1300 lbs., 36.00 to 42.00; high dressing, 42.00 to 49.50; low dressing, 28.00 to 36.00. Light, 85 to 92% lean, 700 to 950 lbs., 26.00 to 35.00; low dressing, 20.00 to 26.00. Slaughter bulls: Yield grade 1 to 2, 1000 to 2100 lbs., 52.00 to 59.00; high dressing, 59.00 to 62.00; low dressing, 42.00 to 52.00. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, english cross and english/exotic crosses, 300 to 350 lbs., 129.00 to 139.00 few sales to 152.00; 350 to 400 lbs., 122.00 to 132.00; 400 to 450 lbs., 117.00 to 127.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 110.00 to 120.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 105.00 to 115.00; 550 to 600 lbs., 101.00 to 111.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 99.00 to 109.00; 700 to 800 lbs., 94.00 to 104.00.
