Lexington cattle sales reportThe Lexington Livestock Market, Lexington, Neb., reported receipts of 2,150 head Nov. 9, compared to 2,400 head last week and 1,650 head last year, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb. Compared to last week, all offerings trended fully steady. Demand was good to very good and trading was moderate to active. Offerings consisted of one-iron calves coming off grass with weigh-in conditions in the buyers favor. Receipts consisted of 60% steers and 40% heifers with 31% of the total weighing over 600 pounds.
