Joplin regional cattle salesThe Joplin Regional Stockyards, Joplin, Mo., reported receipts of 6,000 head Nov. 12, compared to 5,000 head last week and 6,030 head last year, according to the Missouri Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Jefferson City, Mo. Compared to last week, steers and heifers under 600 pounds were steady to $2 lower, over 600 pounds were $1 to $3 lower. Demand and supply were moderate. Weigh-up was average to full. The feeder supply included 49% steers, 39% heifers, with 39% over 600 pounds.
