High Plains slaughter newsHigh Plains weighted average direct slaughter cattle sales for the week ending Nov. 11, totaled 129,894 head, compared to 175,674 head last week and 140,238 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo. The report was based on sales in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Minnesota feedlots.
