Colorado cattle sales report
The Colorado Auction Feeder Cattle Summary, Greeley, Colo., Nov. 9, reported receipts of 16,250 head, compared to 19,025 head last week and 19,350 head last year, according to the USDA-Colorado Department of Agriculture Market News, Greeley, Colo. Compared to last week, feeder steers weighing under 600 pounds were $1 to $2 higher, weights over 600 pounds sold mostly steady $1 higher. Feeder heifers were steady to $2 higher. Demand was moderate to good. The supply was made up of 65% feeder steers, the balance was feeder heifers, with about 39% of the total supply over 600 pounds.
