Ada livestock sales report
The Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,100 head Nov. 7, compared to 3,150 head last week and 3,120 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $4 lower. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were thin to fleshy. The supply included 47% heifers and 43% over 600 pounds.
