Aberdeen cattle sales report
The Hub City Livestock Auction, Aberdeen, S.D., reported receipts of 6,377 head Nov. 14, compared to 4,646 head last week and 6,568 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $2 higher. Demand was good with many offerings sold in load lots. Steers comprised 55% of the run, heifers 45%, with 48% over 600 pounds.
